With their largest crowd of the season in attendance Mids took on title favourites Lochar Thistle in a Quarter Final Potts Cup Tie at New King Edward Park on a sunny but chilly Lockerbie Wednesday night .
Mids started well and it was no surprise when top scorer Luke Hammond took full advantage of a poor clearance by the visiting goalkeeper to nudge the Mids in front on 17 mins. The Lockerbie side continued to outshine their more illustrious opponents and they were unfortunate on several occasions not to increase their advantage but , as luck would have it,Loc
