Today we welcomed Newton Stewart to Trammondford park. The game started at a frantic pace and both teams settled quickly. The young Wigtown team played some very good football at times but the experience of the Newton side showed as they drew first blood. A miss judged pass was all it took for Newton to get the first goal of the afternoon. Wigtown battled on and created a few good chances and were unlucky not to equalise .
